Hover selectors for the oik External Link Warning jQuery plugin

To use the tooltip method to warn your site visitors that they may be leaving your site you need to set the appropriate hover selector.

Steps

• Log in as an admin user
• Choose oik options > External link warning
• Type your choices into the Hover selectors input field
• Separate your selectors using commas

Example

div.sharedaddy,div.sociable

• This will work for social media links created by Jetpack and Sociable.
• It’s unlikely you’ll want to run your site with both these plugins active concurrently.

Notes

• If your link includes the title= attribute then this may be displayed after the External link warning tooltip has been shown
