oik-nivo-slider v1.11 now available

Version 1.11 of the oik-nivo-slider plugin for WordPress is now available from oik-plugins and WordPress.org. This is a maintenance release including one fix.

Version 1.11 change

  • Adds some CSS styling to nivo-slider-32.css to correctly display transitions in text widgets

    div.nivo-slice img, div.nivo-box img { margin: 0px; max-width: none; }
     
    This overrides some styling in oik.css which was setting max-width to 100%, but nivo needs max-width: none;

Version 1.10 changes

Version 1.10, released on 29th January 2014 introduced new parameters to the [nivo] shortcode, allowing you to override the Nivo settings
  • nav=n/y controls the display of the navigation controls below the slideshow
  • thumbs=n/y allows you to display thumbnail images
  • pause=nnnnn allows you to set the time period in milliseconds that the display pauses between transitions
  • manual=n/y allows you to specify if the slideshow advances manually or automatically.
