Responsive nivo slider captions

If your nivo slider is being displayed on a reasonably wide screen then your captions will probably display nicely. But when you have wide shallow images then they may look awful on a narrow display such as an iPhone in landscape mode. AND even worse when in portrait mode. What are the options?

There's a new post on Make WordPress Core announcing a meeting to gather the requirements for a new plugin that will provide APIs for developers to define and manage post meta data. I've tried to reply to this post three times. Each time my response seems to have disappeared into the bit bucket. So here we go again...

The oik-nivo-slider plugin supports scaling of images to fit the space available. This means that you no longer need to ensure that the images are all the same size.

Notes:

Find the Purchase key from your order confirmation.
Complete your Purchase key, Email address and Name as shown on your order confirmation.
Press the Request API key button.
If you have entered a valid Purchase key, Email and Name then your API key will be displayed.
If you have the oik plugin installed and activated then you should copy and paste the API key into the oik options > plugins admin page on your website.
Defining the API key for a plugin will enable automatic updates for any premium plugin you have purchased from oik-plugins.
If you don't have the oik base plugin then you won't be able to get automatic updates, but you will be able to get support.
Obviously, if you purchase products from other sites then you will have to use their API key service.
