OIKKO FOUNDATION, JDPC sign memorandum of understanding

Oikko Foundation and Jute Diversification Promotion Centre (JDPC) will work together to help entrepreneurs in diversifying jute products.
For this purpose, JDPC and Oikko Foundation (www.oikko.com.bd) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Saturday.
On the occasion, Executive Director of JDPC and Additional Secretary of Ministry Textiles and Jute Md Abul Kalam mentioned this initiative to be a defining moment for JDPC. The small entrepreneurs registered in JDPC can now be added in this operation.
He further said, till now they have created many international standard entrepreneurs who are working successfully on international platforms. In the last fiscal year 2019-2020, Bangladesh earned BDT 1,400 crore by exporting jute products.
Oikko Foundation is operating as a heartbeat among the country’s people, said the Executive Director, adding, Oikko Foundation and JDPC together will play a vital role in the country’s economic development in the coming days by increasing the export quality of jute products as well as entrepreneurs’ efficiency.
Oikko Foundation’s Advisor Amirul Islam said the organization has become a familiar name in the country. Its name has spread all around, even in remote areas. Oikko Foundation now represents a dream and a movement. The way Oikko Foundation is working in various activities, it contributes to the development of Bangladesh.
