[bw_tides] shortcode – for UK tide times

The oik tides plugin is a subcomponent of the oik plugin. It provides a shortcode [bw_tides tideurl=”http://www.tidetimes.org.uk/Chichester_Harbour.rss”] with the default value for tideurl being as above. Since it gets its information from the tide times or tidetimes.co.uk websites, it only works for the UK.

It produces similar output to the JavaScript provided at http://www.tidetimes.org.uk/widgets.php   To find the value for tideurl for your local area consult http://www.tidetimes.org.uk/all.php If you are going to show tidal information for more than one location then you will need to use the store=value parameter. If you don’t do this then you’ll get the cached information for the original location.
